The other day, I decided to brave the reality of my office mess. It was time to clean. After an hour or so, I got distracted by some interesting items I found while rooting through my treasures.

Oh, the things we creative people have hiding in the dark recesses of our offices… I was sure I wasn’t alone, so I posed this question to Allovus. What’s in your closet?

Project manager and designer Alison Grauman is a pretty organized person–but she did have few sentimental keepsakes tucked away:

Microsoft’s 20 year birthday commemorative watch. I’m never going to wear this so I can someday sell it on Ebay!

Old Microsoft Patent awards. Wow, you mean I get a whole dollar for selling you my patent idea?

Found an old style guide for Windows 95/NT.
System icons. Hey, we only had 32×32 pixels and 16 colors. What did you expect?!!! At least the light source is consistent.

Data cartridge. Wow! A whole 45 Megabytes! Who could ever need all that storage?
