All right, all you American history buffs, listen up. The cover article on the latest Smithsonian Magazine tells America’s story in 101 objects. The museum chose objects they felt summed up key moments that defined American history.
Some of the highlights are Abe Lincoln’s top hat, the Star Spangled Banner, Lewis & Clark’s compass, the Colt revolver, FDR’s microphone, the Model T, and more. You can see the list in its entirety here: http://www.smithsonianmag.com/specialreports/101-objects-that-made-america/.
The narrative will be available on three different platforms: the magazine, the TV channel, and the new book.
